Dinner Tonight: Pot Roast

I got a great deal on a roast at Bi-Lo, so tonight is pot roast night! I prep this in the am and put it in a crock pot, so tonight all I will have to do is make the egg noodles.

Ingredients:
3 medium potatoes, cubed
3 large carrots, cut in chunks
1 medium onion, cut in wedges
2 celery ribs, cut up
2-3lb Beef Chuck or Roast (salt & pepper to taste)
2 tbsp oil
3/4 cup of water
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Beef bouillon granules

1. Place veggies (potatoes, carrots, celery, and onion) in bottom of crock pot
2. Heat oil in skillet
3. Season meat to taste (I use pepper and garlic salt) and brown in oil
4. Place atop veggies
5. Mix up water, Worcestershire, bouillon, and basil and pour on meat.
6. Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours
7. Serve with egg noodles and ENJOY!
